Accident at work

Mr R was at work using a circular saw when he lost part of his index finger due to an ineffective safety guard. His employer admitted liability and their insurers originally offered £10,800 as compensation for his injury. However upon our advice the figure was rejected and negotiations ensued. The matter was finally settled with a payment over £27,000.
