Accidents at Work / Employers Liability
In 2003/04 there were 159,977 injuries to workers in Great Britain, 168 of which were fatal. Accidents involving manual workers account for over 66% of these injuries, but it may come as a surprise to learn that over 4,000 secretaries/administrators were also injured at work during 2003/04, and 10 managers and senior officials were killed at work during the same period. This demonstrates that accidents at work can, and do, occur whatever your occupation and can be very serious.
Pursuing compensation following an accident at work can be a tricky business if you are not well informed and experienced in this area. Many of our clients find it uncomfortable pursuing compensation from their employers as they are concerned about losing their jobs, or upsetting work colleagues or management. Handled properly your claim need not cause any ill feeling between yourself and your employers. We will always discuss matters with you prior to approaching your employers.
Please complete the form below in order that we can assess your needs and return to you with our advice. All information provided will be treated in the strictest confidence; there is no obligation and no cost for this service.
